Where does South West Coach Lines go?
South West Coach Lines operates road coach services between Perth and the South West region of Western Australia, with a comprehensive network servicing popular destinations and major regional destinations including Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River, Collie, Donnybrook, Balingup, Bridgetown, Manjimup and their surrounding communities.
Where do I find a timetable?
See our Express Timetables for departure and arrival locations, times and schedules. These regular and convenient timetables provide connections between south-west communities, Perth city and the International and Domestic Terminals at Perth Airport.
Where can I get on or off the coach?
Passengers can board and disembark services at any of the destinations scheduled in our Timetables. See our Stop Locations for detailed stop information and maps. Stop location maps are provided as a guide only, and passengers are directed to refer to specific instructions detailed each ticket issued at the time of booking confirmation. South West Coach Lines services only deviate and pick-up and drop-off passengers at destinations where an advance booking has been made.

What concession fares do you offer?
South West Coach Lines is pleased to offer a range of concession fares and for express coach travel tickets. When booking and travelling on a concession fare, you must be the named cardholder and have your valid concession card with you at all times.

How do I purchase a student ticket?
Once your application is approved, a member portal will be setup for you to purchase tickets online, tickets can also be purchased by calling the SWCL Bookings Team on 08 9753 7700.
What is a NetSaver Fare?
South West Coach Lines ‘NetSaver Fare’ is exclusively available online and offers a 10% discount off the standard adult rate. The NetSaver fare includes the same flexibility as other fare types.

Can I book without paying?
South West Coach Lines operates on a seat reservation basis. Bookings may be made up to three months in advance and all tickets must be pre-booked and paid in full to secure your seat.

How far in advance do I need to book my ticket?
South West Coach Lines recommend all tickets are booked and confirmed no less than seven days in advance. Seating is subject to availability and coaches do fill to capacity on popular timetables and during peak times.

What methods of payment are accepted?
South West Coach Lines accept cash, eftpos, Visa and MasterCard payments at any attended South West Coach Lines Booking Centre or Booking Agency. South West Coach Lines accept Visa and MasterCard payments via phone or online when purchasing tickets for adults, accompanying children and WA Seniors who hold a valid Senior SmartRider.
How do I change my booking?

Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable or transferable. For full details, please refer to our Conditions of Carriage. Travel details may be changed or your ticket converted to an open ticket for use at another time, within three months.

Check In & Boarding
What time do I have to check-in?
Generally, passengers should present themselves for check-in no later than 15 minutes prior to departure. Always follow the check-in time instructions and departure time stated on your ticket.
Passengers arriving for check-in within 15 minutes of the departure stated on the ticket may be refused boarding.
Are the coaches branded South West Coach Lines?
The majority of coaches operating on the South West Coach Lines network incorporate highly visible South West Coach Lines branding. Occasionally for operational reasons, South West Coach Lines may use replacement or additional coaches that are not in South West Coach Lines livery.
In such cases, there should always be a temporary South West Coach Lines sign in the coach front or side window.
Are seats allocated?
South West Coach Lines does not offer an allocated seating plan. Passengers are invited to select their preferred seat at time of boarding. Some seating is reserved by South West Coach Lines and utilised to accommodate passengers with special needs and will have seating unavailability signs. South West Coach Lines reserves the right to request passengers re-locate to another seat should these signs be removed unauthorised.
On-board & Travelling
How much luggage can I bring?
The free luggage allowance is one (1) item of stowed luggage not exceeding 25kg each and one piece of carry-on luggage not exceeding 5kg. All additional luggage will incur a fee per item (maximum of two (2) items).

Can I choose my seat?
Passengers are welcome to sit on any available seat when boarding the coach as we do not allocate seats, with the exception unavailable/reserved signed seating. Should you have any specific seating requests, these cannot be guaranteed, however will be accommodated wherever possible.
Is there a restroom on board the coach?
Our luxury coaches are equipped with restroom facilities at the rear of the cabin. The occupied light is illuminated at the front of the cabin when the facility is in use.
Can I take a bike or surfboard with me?
Bulky items such as surf boards and bikes may be transported, if luggage space is available. These items will attract an additional freight charge per item. All additional luggage must be pre-booked as space is limited. For further details, please refer to our Luggage Policy.
Can I smoke or consume alcohol during my journey?
It is strictly prohibited to smoke or drink alcohol on-board South West Coach Lines coaches.
The coach driver has the absolute authority without recourse to refuse boarding or re-boarding of any passenger under the influence of alcohol who may jeopardize the security or enjoyment of fellow passengers travelling with South West Coach Lines.
Are food or beverages provided or permitted on-board?
South West Coach Lines do not provide or sell food on-board. For the comfort of all passengers and hygiene, it is not permitted to take or consume food or beverages on-board a South West Coach Lines coach, with the exception of bottled water.
